Key Responsibilities
As a Field Training Officer, you will play an important role in developing and supporting security personnel on site. Your responsibilities include:
- Acting as the main point of contact for onboarding and ongoing training
- Training and certifying new security personnel, and maintaining accurate training records
- Delivering in-person training in the field as part of daily operations
- Tracking training completion and ensuring compliance with requirements
- Promoting safety awareness and supporting global and regional safety initiatives
- Coordinating with local leadership and headquarters to plan and roll out training programs
- Ensuring all site personnel follow policies and standard operating procedures
- Recommending training schedules based on operational and site needs
- Supporting audit compliance related to training activities
- Conducting regular audits and reporting findings to site leadership
- Maintaining accurate training and safety documentation
- Providing feedback on performance, compliance, and team morale
- Identifying security gaps and suggesting improvements
- Evaluating and escalating potential safety risks within the facility
- Following safe work practices and reporting unsafe conditions
- Supporting additional tasks as required by management

Qualifications
Minimum Hiring Standards
- At least 18 years of age
- Reliable communication method (e.g. mobile phone)
- Reliable transportation
- Legal right to work in the country
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Willingness to complete background checks and screening
Education & Experience
- Associate degree preferred
- 4+ years of experience in security and/or business management
- At least 2 years of training experience
- Experience in data centers and training development is preferred
Special Requirements
- Flexible schedule (including evenings, weekends, holidays)
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, sometimes on short notice
