Daeun Lee's Story as a Supervisor

Security is about more than responding to incidents. It begins with preventing them.

Every day, security professionals work behind the scenes to help keep people, property and operations safe. Through vigilance, responsibility and attention to detail, they help prevent issues before they become incidents.

At Securitas Korea, this proactive approach is at the heart of everything we do. Today, we're introducing Daeun Lee, a Supervisor whose story reflects what it means to build safety through prevention.

Building a career in security

Daeun joined Securitas Korea in 2019 after already gaining experience in the security industry.

"Because I had previous experience in security, I applied without hesitation."

Her previous experience gave her a strong foundation, allowing her to quickly take on greater responsibility for security operations, site management and supporting on-site teams.

Today, she continues to play an important role in helping clients maintain safe and secure environments.

Prevention comes first

For Daeun, successful security is measured by the incidents that never happen.

"Preventing issues before they occur is the most important part of the job."

Security requires constant awareness. Small changes or unusual situations can become larger problems if they go unnoticed.

Although security work may appear straightforward from the outside, it requires focus, consistency and a strong sense of responsibility every day.

"From the outside, the job may look simple, but it is never easy."

For Daeun, the greatest reward comes from knowing she has carried out her responsibilities well and helped create a safe environment for clients and colleagues.

A workplace built on respect

One of the reasons Daeun enjoys working at Securitas Korea is the company's culture.

"There is a culture of respect for both our head office employees and our on-site teams."

Respect is reflected throughout the organization. Regardless of position or title, employees work together as one team and treat one another with professionalism and consideration.

This collaborative culture helps strengthen communication, teamwork and the quality of service delivered to clients every day.

The meaning behind the Three Red Dots

For Daeun, the Securitas logo represents much more than a company brand.

"It reminds me of safety and trust."

She especially values the meaning behind the Three Red Dots, which represent Securitas' core values:

  • Integrity
  • Vigilance
  • Helpfulness

These values guide every decision she makes and reflect the qualities she believes every security professional should demonstrate.

Security is often invisible

The best security is often the security people never notice.

When risks are identified early and incidents are prevented, business operations can continue safely and without disruption.

Through professional guarding, continuous monitoring and proactive security management, Securitas Korea works every day to help clients maintain secure environments.

For Daeun, that means staying alert, identifying potential risks and taking action before problems arise.

Building safer environments every day

Safety is not created through one single action.

It is built through consistent effort, careful observation and a commitment to doing the right thing every day.

Daeun's story is just one example of the people behind Securitas Korea who help create safer workplaces through professionalism, responsibility and prevention.

Because at Securitas Korea, security isn't only about responding when something happens.

It's about helping ensure it never happens in the first place.
